Hu Ge, Joey Yung, Mag Lam in “DIVA” 2011 Film

It has been confirmed Hu Ge will be the male lead in upcoming Hong Kong film ‘DIVA’, alongside Hong Kong singer-actress Joey Yung. I was quite surprised when I found out Hu Ge will be participating in the film as I was just expecting another Hong Kong actor to take the lead role. I like Joey Yung as a singer (she’s my favourite Canto-pop artist), but I always felt acting wasn’t one of her strong points, so I don’t usually watch much of her stuff. Now I have more reason to see this with Hu Ge on board :) I hope it will be good!

‘DIVA’ is a modern love story with Joey Yung (who plays as herself as a Diva) and Hu Ge playing the leads. Newcomer Mag Lam will challenge Joey in the film for Diva status and be paired up with Carlos Chan. The EEG film is tailored-made for Joey and is directed by Heiward Mak and produced by Chapman To.

The film is schedule for release in second quarter of 2012. More info will be posted as more is released!
