Probably Ling Er, not because she is yifei, because she could have live with her family and see her daughter grow. I don't want her to become her mother cause her mother didn't saw her grow and play... I want her to take care of her daughter and of course xiao yao..

Linger. The real reason is probably that I like her better. But for fun, here's a rationalization:
There are two opposing philosophies to which to save. In Linger's defense, there's the comparatively modern thought that no child should grow up without the loving care of both his parents. Since Linger and Xiaoyao are the ones with a child, whereas Yueru is neither married nor has a child, Linger should be the one to live--for the sake of Yiru. In Yueru's defense, there's the famous ancient parable in which a man is asked to choose to save, from a burning house, his mother, his wife, or his child. He chose to save his mother, for there may be another wife and child for him, but his mother is irreplaceable. Both Linger's parents are dead, but Yueru's death will rob her father of the comfort of knowing her daughter's well-being in his old age. Thus, Yueru should be the one to live--for the sake of her father.
The philosophy behind Linger's case is more applicable. Yiru presumably exhibits all the traits of Nu Wa's tribe. She is more in need of her mother than the average child, since her identity as a half-snake is a stigma in the world, and she needs an example of how to cope with it. The philosophy behind Yueru's case is less applicable than usual, since her father had already entrusted her to Xiaoyao's care and expects her to roam the world with him, not expecting to see her or have news of her much anymore.

I voted for Yue Ru ^^
If Yue Ru lived, it would sorta be like the ending for the RPG. Ling'er was meant to be sacrificed but not Yue Ru. If Ling'Er lived, while YueRu (and the rest of the others) all died..it was like everyone who got involved with helping LingEr dies, while she lived. It wouldn't feel right..
I just feel she's the innocent one..

I agree... I cannot understand why the author of this story must make Ling'er die...Chibi Jennifer wrote:I don't think Ling Er deserves to die, I know both don't but Ling Er did everything for everyone.. why can't she deserve to live?
It's not even about Yi Ru... its about her happiness which she hardly got to experience.
