Why would it be fake? That defeats the purpose of him giving it to her...

(well, at the end it seemed like it was pointless, but he wouldnt have known it to end up that way)

i got another question which i dont understand. ling er did not tell xiao yao she is nu wa descedant, so when xiao yao went to the pagoda to save ling er, xiao yao doesnt seem to be afraid of ling er when she was in nu wa descedant form. why???

In the game, he was REALLY shocked to find out Ling Er was half human half snake (Nu Wa descendant).. In the series- yes- he was pretty shocked, however, she was in a life and death situation.. he doesn't care what she may turn into, because she's the Ling Er he loved and will love for the rest of his life.. thats what he said when she woke up..he doesnt care what she becomes

i dont think it was a fake one for ling er soul left her body. the Sword Saint said that she would immediately forget everything but ling er did not forget everything. she looked back and see xiao yao there, felt sad and returned to her body. so what happen to the pill ling er ate? the pill no effects?

Pill was real. Ling Er was suppose to leave the human realme but then she still can't forget about Xiao Yao so she stay at the end.
