Hi mikednng ,
All I did was translating the game (cracking is far out of my league )
Unfortunately the 95 patch won't stack with the upgraded version, but the english translation of the new version is still ongoing. For more information :http://english.fairysword.info/ and maybe it will be released very soon.
So two of my friends got the game and the patch...but now, they are completely stumped with how to actually install the patch/where to stick it. Can anyone help with this?

1. Unzip the game
2. Move the patch RAR into the "Translated PAL" folder of the game directory
3. Unzip patch by 'Extract here' (basically in that folder)
4. Mount CD.rar with Daemon Tools Lite
5. Run PAL and enjoy
Just wanted to say thank you to Xire for releasing an English patch. Your patch runs flawlessly and your work is much appreciated!

I grew up with this game and I literally forgot the name of it. Thanks alot, you make me happy that there are people still left in the community that would attempt to translate a game like this to English. Thanks alot.
Xire, I started replaying the game with your patch and found a whole bunch of typos, invalid information (Like wrong direction in the Zombie Village), I'm hoping that you could lend me a hand with your translation when I focus on the DOS version of PAL, and I'll do all the orphographical corrections so that the translation will be perfect!
Great job on the translation Xire ^^ I found lots of areas for improvement though.
I have done a complete revamp of the translation of all the spells and consumable items,
as I found most of the spells to be poorly translated and some weren't at all or were only pinyin. Not saying that Xire's translation on the game text were bad (they were good), but the spells and items could use much better improvement.
I don't have time to translate the equippable items yet, as there are simply too many items to translate.
For example some edits:
For people wondering how to get some of these spells (as normally characters can't learn them), only way is to use the editor.
Will upload later after some fixes.
bump. Does anyone have the translation patch? This game is the first RPG I ever played, and I've literally played through it 10 times over the past 15 years without being able to read it. My dad would read it out for me way back, and I loved the story, but now its all foggy. Someone please re-up the patch!
