Which cast is stronger? Chinese Paladin vs Chinese Paladin 3

Apart from Hu Ge (who is in both productions), which cast do you feel is stronger?

Chinese Paladin:
Liu Yifei, An Yi Xuan, Esther Liu, Eddie Pang...etc


Chinese Paladin 3:
Yang Mi, Wallace Huo, Tang Yan, Liu Shi Shi...etc
Share your thoughts on the actors working together as a whole

well it obvious that chinese paladin 3 cast would win...... Chang qing surely is strong.... added a reincarnated deity like jing tian... while chinese paladin cast are not too developed in fighting.... like lin yue ru which from the start to end didnt get stronger.....

Maybe I didn't make myself clear enough, I didn't mean 'stronger' in terms of how powerful the characters are (strength), I meant the actors and their ability to portray their characters across better. So it's not about the characters but the actors.

hmmm actually i have to admit that i havent watch chinese paladin 1...but i finished 3 already...CP3 is just sooo addicting! Omigosh..its one of the best drama i had ever watch ^^
soo..maybe i am a bit biased.. for choosing CP3

I'm going to have to go with the CP1 cast / characters. All of them got so much character development. Look at Ah Nu for example. She went from airhead comedy relief to depressed and suicidal within the span of two episodes AND it was believable and moving.

Almost all of the CP3 characters almost ended up where they started at the end. Sure they learnt more about their pasts and each other but for the most part there wasn't that much growth. I kind of feel like the CP3 only took the characters half way compared to what happened with their CP1 counterparts.

Great acting all around though. I'm definitely not saying I hate CP3 or it's characters. CP1 were just stronger overall in my opinion.

The proof is in my "cry meter". I don't think I've cried over so many individual characters than I did in CP1. The characters affected me that much. CP3, not so much.

I just finished watching CP3 yesterday, and it was the BEST Chinese Drama I've ever watched in my opinion. I like all the characters, except Chanqing and ZiXuan.

Back to topic, I would say its definitely CP3 in my opinion. Hu Ge is so much better when act as Jing Tian than Xiao Yao !
There is no passive lead actress like Ling Er, everybody plays their role to the almost perfection !

Sad about your comment on Changqing and Zixuan though :p They're my favourite!

Yeah ! The drama Is very addictive .
hahaha, maybe i dun really like ah7 in CP1, cos everytime i see changqing, i remember ah7 :p
they are super intelligence, but after watching behind the scenes and NGs, wallace is quite funny, especially the scene when sheng gu gave 'du ling cu (i forgot what orb)' to them

Oh goodness.. please do not compare Changqing with AhQi, that's such a huge insult to Changqing!! Seriously, they are nothing alike and Changqing is just 1000000x better than him in every way possible.

Dunno, never seen CP3, and not planning to. But the characters don't seem sad enough to make me cry, unlike CP1. I cried everytime I watch it...
