My Thoughts on Chinese Paladin 3 **CONTAINS SPOILERS**

I've just started watching CP3, and I wanted to share my thoughts as I progress with the series I'm also not familiar with Chinese Paladin 3 game either..so I don't really know what's going to happen in the story


Initial thoughts (Episode 1):
Loved seeing Hu Ge again after Chinese Paladin1 He's pretty funny and silly...reminds me a lot like Li Xiao Yao.

Yang Mi- wow, she kinda reminds me of Yue Ru, but a younger version since she sounds so cute XD Is she suppose to be like that? Also, is her hair naturally curly? XD How come when her hair grows really really long, it keeps being curly? Wouldn't it be straight on the regrowth?

Wallace- Never seen him before, he looks kinda cool when he appears in the end..

I've also noticed that they used the same love "broach" thing which Tang Yu and AH Nu have in CP1.. is this added from the drama alone? I doubt it would be in the game, right, since it was made up just for the drama?

Not exactly sure who you're referring to, since I haven't seen her character yet- but if you're referring to the girl in blue..then yes! I see some resemblances

well I only watched the first episode, but more than 90% of the stuff in the Ep. 1 are different from the game this time (including that "broach" thing)

well for PAL3 I did see the point to complete or change the storyline as PAL3 doesn't have a strong storyline like PAL1 (it's basically like: 10-20 sentences -> hours of maze -> 10-20 sentences -> maze -> etc. ).

what I didn't like is their "funny" and "childish" style

After watching the whole series, the only one that strongly impressed me was Yang Mi as Tang Xue Jian. Hu Ge has done Jing Tian well but that is far from being close to the game. No spoilers so no comment on the others

i like chang qing and zi xuan in the drama, although it is quite different from game
but the style is similar, while jing tian and xue jian behave like young people in modern TV dramas

i really don't like the ending...as in the last few eps, not just the final ending...
overall, i would've liked the characters to improve more as the series progresses

Well I think overall it was pretty good. I have to say they put a lot of pointless stuff that didn't make no sense. I like it how the mood change from immature stuff in the beginning to seriousness at the end. that's what i like about the CP series.

What really annoyed me was really the parts that made no sense to me.

this CP3 is nice but i dunt like in the end of this film bcoz..
Tian Di promised jing tian one request but when jing tian requested to make all people killed by se cie sien alive, it makes jing tian life shortern
and means jing tian ll die soon n leave sie jian alone...wew i really dunt like this

Felt that overall the drama is not as Good as the first one.

I was emotionally immersed in CP1. I don't really feel the emotions in CP3. When CP1 ended, I wished the drama could be longer, but not CP3.

Ending too rushed. //SPOILER// Suddenly, Jing Tian is as Good as dead. WTH? //SPOILER//

Character development is too weak. Jing Tian is weak all along, and suddenly BAM at the end he got powers transferred by everyone and won. Direction of the drama is pretty weak too. Story line not as Good.

On side note, why does the creator of the game or the drama loves to leave the ending hanging? Maybe because of it, we are so in love with the series.

i think overall chinese paladin 3 is quite good. it is far more better in terms of the setting and storyline... but i would prefer the characters in xian jian 1 though... they were much more lively and humorous... cp3 is sort of more serious... i like chang qing and zi xuan best... their story is really touching!

I went to Hong Kong about 2 months ago and about Chinese Paladin on DVD Hopefully will get around to watching it soon!! (Sooo late, I know =_=)
